The Poverty Alliance

The Poverty Alliance is the anti-poverty network in Scotland of 400 members. We deliver a range of community engagement, policy advice, research and campaigning on poverty. In recent years our work has focused on addressing low incomes in and out of work, improving public services that have an impact on poverty and addressing stigmatising attitudes and beliefs about poverty.

We host and support programmes including Living Wage Scotland programme, End Poverty Edinburgh and Get Heard Scotland

We are a CHEX member because poverty is both a cause and a consequence of inequalities in power which drives health inequalities.
