. Turning knowledge into action: resources from the CHEX Conference 2025

Raising awareness among national networks and professional societies about CHEX, and how community-led health can help tackle health inequalities, is an important part of the job for the CHEX team.

One way we do that is to provide inputs and workshops at other national network organisation’s events and conferences.

This year for our national conference our focus was turning knowledge and learning into action on the most pressing issues facing our communities.

We used a bit of a different format from usual - instead of focusing on speakers, we hosted keynote listeners who were there to hear our network’s experiences and insights and work with us to ensure that our collective knowledge and experience is better understood and fed into work at the national level.

From precarious funding to the impact of burnout, efforts to tackle health inequalities on the ground are facing huge pressures, and it's never been more critical to talk honestly, and collectively, about how we can work better together to address the issues facing our communities.

We've pulled together a set of resources from the event which we will be adding to over time, to help keep the conversation going and ensure that we turn our collective knowledge into action to see a healthier future for everyone in our communities.
