New CHEX resource focuses on the people we work with
/Community health is a wide-ranging and busy sector, with lots of different regional and national organisations involved.
As a core part of what we do, CHEX works with other networks, organisations and groups across the country to support and promote a community development approach to health and wellbeing at all levels.
You'll know from our regular 'out and about' articles that we love to make time to visit local organisations across the country and showcase the fantastic and important work happening on the ground.
Our new People We Work With section allows us to also highlight the larger regional and national organisations who work alongside us to support and develop community-led health and preventative approaches to tackling health inequalities.
So take a look and see the variety of folks we work with and you can email Sheena, our comms person, if you would like to link up and get more involved with our work!
New and improved resources
We've also recently revamped the resource hub on the website to make it easier for you to find the information you're looking for and it's packed with useful stuff. We've got:
explainers on the basics of health inequalities and what community-led health can do to tackle them
articles and blogs outlining some of the key principles and context
a new resource on prevention, including case studies
information on research and resources to support your practice and professional learning
And lots more!
We're always looking to add more helpful resources so give us a shout if you have a resource to signpost to or have any suggestions for content which would be useful to you.
