The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and The Joint Improvement Team, which funds the Scottish Co-Production Network, is looking a National Co-lead for Community Building and Co-production, based in Edinburgh:

SCVO is recruiting to a seconded post to be based in the Joint   Improvement Team (JIT) to bring a Third Sector perspective to efforts to improve outcomes for people and communities in the context of health and social care integration. The work has a clear focus on the community development elements essential to realise the asset based and co-productive approaches on which such programmes are based.

Health and social care in Scotland for older people and for others is changing for the better. The Joint Improvement Team (JIT) is at the heart of this positive change. Located in the Scottish Government, it is a unique partnership between Scottish Government, CoSLA and NHS Scotland with the direct involvement of the third and independent sectors. It supports 32 local health and social care partnerships involving the NHS, local authority, third and independent sectors to accelerate the pace of change and improvement in the quality of Scotland's health and care services.
