Resilient Scotland host Social Investment events

Resiliant Scotland logoResilient Scotland, set up to enable community-led organisations to play a leading role in the regeneration of their area,begins a series of events in the Dundee and Edinburgh areas to highlight their new Social Investment programmes. These new programmes work to support community-led regeneration, social enterprise development and community asset ownership.

These events are open to organisations and individuals engaged in all aspects community development looking to expand their knowledge of the programmes and hear about a range of relevant topics.

They begin the first in a series of events that will take place across the 13 local authority areas that are eligible for Resilient Scotland investment. Future event details and dates will be available soon.

Following on from the Dundee and Edinburgh events there will be opportunity for organisations in other eligible areas to express an interest in investment from Resilient Scotland prior to their local event - details are available here. This may be of particular interest to any organisations which have plans in place that they consider to be 'investment ready'.

Both events are free and will offer talks a series of talks, a Q&A session and chance for networking and refreshments.
