New Scottish Parliament video on Community Empowerment Bill

The Scottish Parliament has produced a new video on the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Bill, focusing on changes that the Local Goverment and Regeneration Committee has made to the Bill based on suggestions from, and engagement with, people and community groups the length and breadth of Scotland.

The proposed Community Empowerment (Scotland) Bill aims to make it easier for people to get involved in decisions affecting public services and to make improvements in their community.  As it moves into the final stage of the legislative process, the Scottish Parliament's Local Government and Regeneration Committee Convener, Kevin Stewart MSP, reflects on the changes his committee has made to the Bill in stage two of the Committee's scrutiny of it.
