An Introduction to Inequalities and Health - training

This free training is being offered by CHEX in seven places in Scotland during March 2018. It is funded by NHS Health Scotland through the National Collaborative on Inequalities.

This training is aimed at people who are interested to know more about how life circumstances affect our health. The training draws on the experiences of those who are at the training and is highly participative. We are looking for a mix of people to be involved.

The training will include the opportunity to explore theoretical models such as the ‘social model of health’ and ‘taking a human rights perspective’ when trying to improve health.

Whether you work or volunteer in the Community and Voluntary Sector, the NHS or the Local Authority we hope you would find this training interesting and useful.

In March we are offering a mix of half day sessions and full day sessions in the following areas.
