Evidence for Success guide – now available

Evidence for Success: The Guide to Getting Evidence and Using It offers easy to follow, step-by-step guidance and resources to support organisations to Evidence for Successuse evidence to influence policy and practice.

The guide was produced by the Knowledge Translation Network (KTN), of which CHEX is a part.  The KTN was established in 2012 to facilitate and share learning about effective knowledge translation and dissemination activities. The guide is for anyone who wants to use evidence to improve policy and practice, regardless of the level of experience they have in doing so.  Therefore, it is intended that this guide will also be of value to a wide range of stakeholders, including: practitioners, service managers, funders and commissioners, and policy makers and planners.

The “Evidence for Success” guide was launched at an event hosted by Big Lottery Fund in Glasgow.  Participants welcomed the guide and provided positive feedback, as well as suggestions as how it could be disseminated and used.  The KTN is preparing a short report of the event, which they will share with you soon.  If you have feedback or dissemination ideas please get in touch; the KTN would love to hear from you.
