Children's hearings and community-led health - discussion event

Are you working with children or young people who are involved in the children’s hearing system?

Or, are you working with parents and carers of children and young people involved in the children’s hearing system?

Or both?

Would you like to find out about what supports are available to children and families to enable them to have as positive an experience of the hearings system as possible?

The Children’s Hearings Improvement Partnership has recently published the results of their research to identify what makes a Hearing work well, from the perspective of those who are involved. The Better Hearings research proposes a set of standards for better hearings, developed jointly by children, young people and practitioners.

CHEX has offered to host a discussion with The Children’s Hearing Improvement Partnership to explore how community led organisations and their partners can work together to ensure that the hearings system best meets the needs of children, young people and their carers.

If you would like to find out more about the proposed standards and how you and others in your community might be supported to use them, please email Sam Jordan on to indicate your interest in the event by 5pm on 3 February 2017.

A date and venue for the discussion will be confirmed once we know the level of demand
