Community Food and Health Scotland launch 2011/12 Learning and Development Programme

Community Food and Health (Scotland)'s new learning and development programme builds on the success of their previous programme, and includes details of activities that we are running up to the end of March 2012.  The programme provides opportunities for people involved in community food or community health work to develop new skills and expertise that will benefit them, the organisations they work in and the communities that they work with.

This year's programme includes learning and development activities around the theme of social enterprise along with promoting your community food initiative, community engagement, customer care, a REHIS elementary food and health course and a Scottish Grocers Federation's healthyliving programme ‘training the trainer' session.

They welcome applications from anyone who works in or with a community food or community health organisation or activity. All the learning and development opportunities are fully funded.
