CHEX at the Scottish Learning Festival 2012
Community Learning and Development at the Scottish Learning Festival 2012
Making the connections between informal, non-formal and formal learning
This year, CHEX and SCDC will be taking part in the CLD village and CLD Fringe programme at the Scottish Learning Festival, sponsored by the CLD Standards Council.
SLF 2012 hopes to attract a larger audience from the further education, youth work and community learning and development sectors than in previous years. Download the CLD Village Fringe Programme and Exhibitor Guide now.
The CLD Village
The CLD Village is placed centrally in the Exhibition Hall, close to Education Scotland, the Education Showcase and the Local Authority Village. There are ten exhibitors in the Village and CHEX will be one of them!
You can visit the stands and learn about the broad range of work with young people, families, adult learners and communities taking place across Scotland and how you can make connections to support your learners, their families and their communities. More information about the exhibitors is in the Exhibitor Guide.
The CLD Fringe Programme
There will be a CLD Fringe programme of events running throughout the Festival at Stand C72 (the CLD Standards Council for Scotland.)
There will be six half-hour sessions each day, sharing with visitors key highlights of the diverse range of creative and challenging practice offered by the CLD Village exhibitors. You can find details of the sessions in the CLD Fringe Programme. CHEX will be delivering a session on the Health Issues in the Community Youth and Schools programme.
